October 9 · national guidance. ASHA announced a readiness checklist, coding quick guide, payer code-use tracker, template payer letter and code-by-code videos following release of the 2027 CPT book. October 8 · routine review. ASHA expects randomized SLP survey invitations around October 15 for FEES/swallowing services. Respond if selected; invitation links are recipient-specific. • BCCHP identifier change: The September 25 notice sets November 16, 2026 for Medicaid RIN use in eligibility and claim-status fields and January 1, 2027 for the end of subscriber-ID use across transactions.
