Include an update when…
- A shared payer or agency rule explicitly includes SLP services.
- A combined therapy benefit, visit limit, authorization vendor, or billing edit could affect SLP claims or access.
- A related-field decision provides a relevant precedent; label the SLP impact as potential until verified.
Show the connection on every item
Identify the originating profession, exact source and policy status, affected jurisdiction or product, why SLPs should care, whether SLP applicability is confirmed or potential, and the next bounded check.
A PT or OT timing rule is not automatically an SLP billing rule. A benefit decision in another state is a comparison until applicability is established.
This scope update adds relevance criteria, not a new policy scan. Existing comparison records retain their original evidence dates.
